The Beagle is Stranded

It would be easy to shrug off the apparent loss of the BEAGLE 2 Mars probe
as just another casualty in the long list of Mars Missions that have failed.



But I should point out that this was a mission built-on-the-cheap. Before it
had launched from Earth, there was a lot of air play given to the idea that
NASA had it all wrong - this is how a space mission should be done...
the European way. Small, light, cheap. This doesn't prove that NASA has it right, but it sure shows goes a long way in that direction.

Ahh, but I know what happened to Beagle 2...
